 The MWA was established June 5, 2005. We are a bonded company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We are licensed to hold professional wrestling events in the states of Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas, Wyoming, South Dakota, Iowa and soon to be Illinois.

 

All of our wrestlers are professionally trained and licensed by the Athletic Commission.

ABOUT

HISTORY

The very first MWA Heavyweight Champion was legendary Grappler Orville Brown. Orville was also the first recognized World champion having captured the title in 1940 holding this prestigous championship until 1948 a record 8 years!

 

The first MWA Heavyweight Champion of the new era was Brian Blade who won the Championship in the finals of a tournament over Preston Maxwell on June 5th, 2005 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

11/13/05 Sean E. Xavier wins a 4way dance for the Cruiser weight title.

01/21/06 Gauge wins the first MWA Royal Rumble

02/25/06 Gauge defeats Blade to become MWA Heavyweight Champion

04/15/06 Northern Lights (Buck Albright/North) win Tag Team titles

04/15/06 Team MWA(Blade,Storm,Johnny Jackson defeat Team XCW (Jacob Ladder,Darren Child w/Miss Jiggles and Sid Murder)

05/12/06 Blade defeats Gauge to regain Heavyweight title

06/02/06                        Defeats Austin Storm to become the First MWA TV Champion

07/29/06 Greatest Show on Earth-GSOE (Gauge/Jackson) defeat Northern lights to win Tag titles
